gosh! it's been awhile... i wrapped my still nameless reality show a little over 2 weeks ago, although it seems like it was forever ago... i really miss it... all the attention, the cameras, all the people and the non-stop pace, it was crazy times for sure! we were always doing something, going somewhere and definitely partying a bit... i can't really say anything about what went on, but i had a great time for sure... i can't wait to see how it looks on TV! i'm so going to be the star! haha... they're about to shop it around to the major networks in the US, but it's already a definite that it's going to air in Canada haha... so yeah, i met SO many awesome people from the cast & production crew and i was able to do so many new things, many of which i never thought i'd like doing but ended up loving, or in some cases still hating... but either way, i experienced so much... i can't say i learned all these glorious things about picking up girls or anything like that, but i wasn't going there to solely learn that kind of stuff anyways... the main things that i feel i left the show with is the feeling that i can be outgoing and confident... that if i take risks, good things can happen... and mainly, that i have everything already inside of me, i just have to get it out there... sure, it's pretty common sense kind of stuff, but experiencing it first hand, mulitplied by 10 certainly gets it into my head more than just thinking it on my own *shrugs* so yeah, i've had some trouble adjusting to coming home though... but i think i'm getting to a point where i am definitely putting myself first instead of worrying about what other people think & the whole stressing myself out about girls...
speaking of putting myself first, i had my first job as a Production Assistant on sunday! woo! it was for this small shoot for the directors reel, but it was still an awesome experience... my call time was 8am, and i didn't leave until 1am... so it was a lovely 17 hour, unpaid, day haha... i even had to drive back there early monday morning with another PA to pack up the rented camera equipment and bring it all into the city... so yeah, sure it was long, tiring and unpaid, but i loved it nonetheless... i just had a great experience and feel like it's definitely something i'd love to do more of... i love being able to meet so many different people, being a part of creating something, doing so many different things, etc... i'm really hoping i can eventually let go of dog walking completely if i can get this going somewhat consistently... so yeah, i'm crossing my fingers...
i bumped into Famke Janssen(Jean Grey from X-Men/X2) the other day at a dog run around the west village... she had a Boston Terrier named Licorice similar to my Oliver... but yeah, i was sitting next to her, and i glanced over at her as she glanced up and just after we both looked away i got smashed in the face with a soaking wet tennis ball haha... she noticed and asked me how i was several times, and we both looked around and to our dismay no one even acknowledged that they threw it! but yeah, that at least broke the ice a lil haha... i didn't say i knew who she was or anything like that... i just played with her dog and shared a few words with her... was nifty... but like i kinda said before, i apparently didn't learn anything special about picking up girls on that show because i didn't even try to get her number! *sigh* haha... i have to stop thinking i can put things off until "next time"...
